Grief is one of the most universal human experiences, and yet it can feel profoundly isolating. We live in a world that often wants us to move through it quickly, to find closure, to get back to normal. But grief doesn't work that way. It isn't a problem to be solved or a phase to be completed. It is love with nowhere left to go — and it deserves the same care and attention as the love that created it. Color Your Grief was designed to give you a space for that.
How This Book Works Inside these pages you will find 30 original illustrations, each one a symbolic image drawn from the landscape of loss and healing — bare trees and open cages, cracked hearts full of wildflowers, lone figures at the edge of the sea. There is no order you must follow. Open to any page that calls to you. Some days you may want the quiet focus of coloring. Other days you may want to write. Many days you may want both.
Each illustration is paired with a journal page. Some of those pages offer a written prompt — a question or invitation to explore what's sitting with you. Others are left completely open, because sometimes what we need most is a blank page and permission to fill it however we choose.
There are no rules here. You can color inside the lines or outside of them. You can write in full sentences or single words or nothing at all. You can come back to the same page a dozen times if that's where you keep finding yourself.
